A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) interested in working within a school environment near Glendale, AZ. This newly confirmed role begins 7/14 and is focused on providing dedicated 1:1 care for a student, supporting their health needs throughout the school day.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active LPN or LVN license in the state
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • Ability to provide compassionate, individualized care for students
  • Must be comfortable and physically able to ride the school bus as part of the assignment
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to safety, confidentiality, and student well-being

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support one student’s medical needs as required during school hours and while riding the school bus to and from campus
  • Administer medications, monitor health conditions, and follow care plans as directed by physicians and school health staff
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation on interventions and health status
  • Serve as a liaison between families, educators, and healthcare professionals regarding the student’s care
  • Adapt to evolving requirements as more information on the student’s needs becomes available
