School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Griffin, Georgia

This contract position offers the opportunity to provide vital 1:1 care for a young learner who requires medical support throughout the school day. You'll work alongside dedicated educational professionals within a welcoming environment.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be the comprehensive care of a student with a central line and G-tube during school hours. No bus riding is required, and the schedule runs from 8:00am to 3:00pm. The assignment begins October 5th, 2026, and concludes December 18th, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active LPN or LVN license
• Experience providing 1:1 care for pediatric patients, preferably in a school or similar environment
• Strong clinical competency with central line and G-tube care
• Proficient documentation and communication skills
• Compassionate, attentive, and adaptable to the needs of a young child
• Ability to maintain professionalism while collaborating with educators and parents

Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on medical care as outlined in the student’s health plan
• Monitor and manage central line and G-tube procedures safely
• Communicate effectively with school staff and families regarding student needs
• Keep accurate and timely records of daily care
• Maintain a supportive, nurturing atmosphere for the student
