Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and unrestricted LPN or LVN license
• Prior experience working with children or in a pediatric/school setting preferred
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to urgent medical situations
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student health plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine and emergency nursing care in compliance with student Health Care Plans
• Administer medications and treatments to students as prescribed
• Conduct health screenings and assist with immunization tracking
• Maintain confidential and accurate health records
• Provide first aid and medical support during school hours, field trips, and special events
• Act as a resource for school staff and families on health matters
• Participate in IEP meetings and health-related evaluations, as needed
• Support public health initiatives and maintain up-to-date infection control practices
