School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Henderson, NV

Skilled LPNs are needed for a full-time school-based role providing dedicated 1:1 care to students with specialized medical needs, particularly those with tracheostomies and G-tube feeds. This position is based entirely onsite—no VOCO or hybrid arrangements are available. You’ll play a crucial role in facilitating daily learning by responding to healthcare needs, supporting one student’s well-being, and collaborating with educational staff throughout the assignment.

Key Dates:

• Start: August 10, 2026
• End: October 12, 2026
• Training: Afternoon of August 4th and morning of August 7th
• Interview: June 26, 2026, beginning at 9am PST in half-hour intervals

What We’re Looking For:

• Current, active LPN License
• Valid CPR/BLS Certification
• Previous experience with 1:1 student care in a school setting strongly preferred
• Competency in managing tracheostomy care and GT feeds
• Reliable transportation for travel across assigned locations
• Availability for full-time work on campus, and participation in required training sessions
• Detail-oriented candidates able to respond effectively in medical situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing care to a student requiring trach and GT feed support
• Conduct routine health assessments and administer medications/treatments as outlined in medical plans
• Engage in regular communication with families, school teams, and other healthcare professionals
• Travel within the Las Vegas area (including near Flamingo, Boulder Highway, and up to Henderson)
• Ensure meticulous documentation and compliance with district protocols
