Step into a rewarding contract assignment providing dedicated nursing support in the Las Vegas area for the upcoming school year. This full-time position begins August 10, 2026, and concludes October 12, 2026, with mandatory training scheduled for the afternoons of August 4 and the morning of August 7. You’ll work on-site, supporting a student in a 1:1 capacity, particularly focusing on tracheostomy care and potentially GT feeding, across areas spanning Flamingo, Boulder Highway, and up to Henderson.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, valid LPN license
  • Active CPR/BLS certification
  • Experience with tracheostomy care is required; familiarity with GT feeds is highly beneficial
  • Valid driver’s license (copy required upon presentation)
  • Ability to reliably commit to a temporary, full-time role without the expectation of extension
  • Must provide an updated resume and email address for credentialing and district onboarding
  • Comfortable working with school-aged populations
  • Ready to coordinate any required fingerprinting as directed by the district
  • On-site availability only; this position does not support hybrid or remote/VOCO work

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive, individualized nursing support to a student requiring a trach
  • Monitor, document, and communicate changes in the student’s condition
  • Work collaboratively alongside educators and school staff to ensure safety and well-being
  • Provide assistance with medical and personal care procedures as needed
  • Participate in mandatory training prior to start date
