Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Hesperia, CA

As a vital member of the educational team, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to promote the health, safety, and well-being of your assigned student while helping them participate fully in their school environment.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Active California LPN or LVN license in good standing
• Prior experience in a school setting, pediatric care, or providing 1:1 support preferred
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt to varying daily needs and environments within the school
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional standards within a school context
• CPR and First Aid certification (current or willing to obtain)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to a student throughout the school day in Apple Valley or Victorville
• Administer medications and medical treatments according to physician and district guidelines
• Monitor health status and intervene as necessary to ensure safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate updates to school staff and guardians
• Support the student in accessing the full curriculum and participating in all activities safely
• Collaborate with school nurses, teachers, and administrators to address ongoing medical needs
