Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active LPN or LVN license in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting strongly preferred
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills to manage health concerns as they arise
  • Compassionate demeanor and excellent communication abilities for interactions with students, parents, and staff
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and care
  • CPR and First Aid certification required

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver routine and emergency nursing care to students as needed during school hours
  • Administer medications and care for minor illnesses or injuries following school protocols
  • Support students with chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, or allergies
  • Document health assessments, interventions, and communications in a timely and accurate manner
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, school administrators, and families to promote student health
  • Participate in health education programs and advocate for student wellness initiatives
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date health records for all students
