LPN - School in Huntersville, NC

A licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to provide dedicated healthcare support to a mid-elementary student with health impairments in a school setting, located in Huntersville, NC. This contract role requires compassionate and attentive care from approximately 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year (last week in May).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily health assistance tailored to the student’s needs throughout the school day
• Perform diaper and catheter changing with proper hygiene and professionalism
• Monitor the student’s condition and communicate any concerns to the healthcare team and school staff
• Follow all health care plans and protocols established for the student
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes observed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid LPN license required
• Experience working with pediatric patients, preferably in a school or similar setting
• Ability to perform catheter care and diaper changes with sensitivity and care
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with school personnel, families, and healthcare providers
• Patience, empathy, and attention to detail when working with children who have health impairments
