Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid LPN license
  • Previous experience with 1:1 care, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
  • Comfortable supporting students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
  • Adaptable and capable of working independently in a busy school environment
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate, individualized nursing care to assigned student(s) throughout the school day
  • Monitor and manage health conditions, medication administration, and specialized care plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support the student’s educational participation and health needs
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Respond to student health emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
  • Participate in meetings regarding student care and progress as required
