Take on a meaningful role supporting students’ health and well-being in a school environment as an LPN Nurse. This contract opportunity is located near Inglewood, CA, with assignments based in Marina Del Ray for the 25/26 extended school year. Enjoy a part-time schedule, working onsite from 8:00am to 12:15pm, June 15 through July 12. You’ll receive weekly pay, with a starting rate of $37 per hour.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid LPN or LVN license in California
  • Experience working within a school or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of standard nursing procedures, medication administration, and emergency protocols
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a busy school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic nursing care and first aid for students and staff onsite
  • Administer prescribed medications and document all treatments according to policy
  • Support students with chronic health needs, such as diabetes or asthma
  • Monitor and respond to medical emergencies appropriately
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with district policies and state requirements
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student health needs are met
  • Uphold all HIPAA and FERPA privacy standards
