Step into a rewarding short-term contract as a Licensed Practical Nurse supporting a kindergartener near Jackson, GA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a school environment, providing meaningful one-on-one care and making a direct impact on a student’s daily life. The primary responsibility will be caring for a young child with a central line and G-tube, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the school day.

Position Details:

  • Full-time hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Approximately 4-6 week assignment, with potential for extension
  • No bus riding required; all duties are performed on campus

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active Georgia LPN license required
  • Previous experience working with pediatric patients preferred
  • Strong skills in central line and G-tube care/maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with educational staff and families
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach and adaptability in a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily healthcare and monitoring for the assigned student, including central line and G-tube management
  • Respond to student’s medical needs, administering treatments and medications as required
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, school faculty, and the student’s family to coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate documentation of daily health checks and interventions
  • Uphold all safety protocols to ensure student well-being throughout the school day
