Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Jacksonville, FL

Great opportunity for a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) interested in supporting students in a dynamic school setting. This contract role places you directly in the heart of the action, caring for students’ health needs at elementary, middle, or high school campuses in the Jacksonville, FL area. Assignments are typically at a single school, with a range of part-time, PRN, and occasional full-time slots offered based on district needs. Start date is August 10, 2026, with the contract running through May 28, 2027.

What You’ll Bring:

• Current and active Florida LPN license required
• High school diploma or GED and active CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is a plus
• Completion of district orientation and required monthly training
• Flexibility to handle varied student healthcare needs over a school day
• Fingerprinting per school district requirements; familiarity with AHCA Clearinghouse a bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily health support to students in campus health rooms
• Address medical concerns, administer medication, respond to emergencies
• Work collaboratively with school administration and staff
• Maintain accurate health records and follow district protocol
• Attend all required orientations and ongoing training as scheduled

This role features a pay rate of $29–$30 per hour, with most placements running 7 hours per day on a part-time or PRN basis. Full-time opportunities may be available as needs arise throughout the school year.
