Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active and unencumbered LPN or LVN license
- Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Proficiency in basic nursing procedures (medication administration, first aid, health screenings)
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with students, parents, and educational staff
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to respond calmly to urgent situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily health services to students and staff, including medication administration and basic first aid
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation according to school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with school counselors, teachers, and administrators to support students’ well-being
- Participate in developing and implementing care plans for students with chronic conditions or special medical needs
- Serve as a resource to faculty and parents, educating them on relevant health issues
