Apply NowThis rewarding travel nursing opportunity centers around supporting a 7-year-old student in Hudson County for the 2026/2027 school year. The role is ideal for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in school settings. As a 1:1 nurse, you’ll make a lasting impact by ensuring the safety and well-being of your student through daily activities—including transportation and classroom participation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active LPN, LVN, or RN license in New Jersey
- Prior school nursing, pediatric, or 1:1 care experience strongly preferred
- Compassionate and attentive to the unique needs of young students
- Ability to provide care on the school bus as well as throughout the school day
- Collaborative spirit for working closely with school staff and families
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 nursing care for a 7-year-old student, following individualized health plans
- Monitor health status and respond to medical needs during transport and throughout the school day
- Administer medications and perform routine or emergency interventions as required
- Maintain accurate nursing records and follow all school and district policies
- Serve as an advocate for your student’s well-being and inclusion in the classroom setting
- Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals
