Qualifications:

  • Active LPN license in New Jersey
  • Experience working with children or in pediatric settings preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Organizational skills to maintain accurate health records and documentation
  • Flexibility to respond effectively to urgent and routine medical issues
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Deliver routine medical care and administer medication as prescribed
  • Respond promptly to injuries, illnesses, or medical emergencies
  • Provide health education to students and staff on relevant topics
  • Maintain confidential and up-to-date student health records
  • Monitor and support students with chronic conditions, allergies, or special health plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and administration to ensure a safe, healthy school environment
  • Participate in health screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) and immunization compliance
