Qualifications:
- Active LPN license in New Jersey
- Experience working with children or in pediatric settings preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Organizational skills to maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Flexibility to respond effectively to urgent and routine medical issues
- Ability to collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families
Daily Responsibilities:
- Deliver routine medical care and administer medication as prescribed
- Respond promptly to injuries, illnesses, or medical emergencies
- Provide health education to students and staff on relevant topics
- Maintain confidential and up-to-date student health records
- Monitor and support students with chronic conditions, allergies, or special health plans
- Collaborate with teachers and administration to ensure a safe, healthy school environment
- Participate in health screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) and immunization compliance
