This role focuses on providing dedicated, one-on-one nursing care to a Pre-K aged student throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. You will collaborate with staff and families to deliver hands-on, compassionate support that enables your student to safely and successfully participate in their educational program.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid LPN/LVN license in New Jersey, in good standing
  • Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or similar environment highly desirable
  • Familiarity with individualized healthcare plans and special needs care
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Compassion, reliability, and a commitment to student well-being

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 nursing care and supervision for a Pre-K aged student throughout the school day
  • Administer medications and treatments according to the healthcare plan
  • Monitor for changes in health status and respond swiftly to any concerns
  • Maintain accurate health records and clear documentation
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff
  • Facilitate the student’s full participation in classroom activities and field trips
  • Attend training or meetings as required by the school or agency
