School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Jonesboro, Georgia

What You Bring:

• Current and valid LPN, LVN, RN, or CSN licensure in the state (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in a school, pediatric, or community health environment preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of care coordination, individualized healthcare planning, and state/federal school health policies
• Aptitude for supporting students with diverse health needs, including chronic conditions, medication administration, and emergency response

Your Day-to-Day:

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to students and staff
• Administer medications, manage care for students with IHPs, and address acute health concerns
• Participate in IEP and 504 plan development and implementation
• Maintain accurate documentation and health records per state guidelines
• Educate students and staff on wellness, disease prevention, and health topics
• Serve as a trusted resource for health-related questions and provide first aid as needed
• Collaborate with families, outside providers, and school administration to ensure comprehensive care
