School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Lacey, Washington

A skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is needed to provide dedicated one-on-one nursing support for a first-grade student during the 2026-27 school year. This contract position is based in Tumwater, WA, and involves working approximately 32.5 hours per week within a school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing care tailored to the needs of a first-grade student
• Monitor and assess the student’s health status throughout the school day
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records and documentation
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support the student's educational and health goals
• Implement and monitor health care plans and emergency protocols as necessary
• Educate school personnel about the student’s health needs to promote awareness and safety

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of Washington
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged children preferred
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of school health policies and procedures is an asset
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a school setting
