School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Lakeville, Minnesota

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active K-12 School Nurse license required
• LPN or RN credentials with relevant experience
• Comfortable working independently with limited supervision
• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and MN disciplinary incidence research, maintaining eligibility status

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver responsive, temporary, and emergency care or first aid to students who are ill or injured on-site
• Assess and monitor students’ health status, facilitating annual screenings for vision and hearing
• Manage medication administration for a range of acute and chronic health conditions, documenting all procedures thoroughly
• Collaborate with physicians and parents to address medication adjustments or health plan modifications as needed
• Prepare and maintain well-stocked first aid kits for building use
