School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Lakewood, Washington

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unrestricted LPN or LVN license
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations for school health services
• Ability to assess, respond to, and manage student health emergencies
• Capable of building rapport with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students in accordance with individualized health plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor students with chronic health conditions and respond to acute medical situations
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality
• Serve as a health resource for staff and students, providing health education as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support overall student wellbeing
• Participate in health screenings and immunization compliance initiatives
