Desired Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted LPN or LVN license in the state of California
  • Prior experience in school, pediatric, or community health settings strongly preferred
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Knowledge of IEP and 504 plan processes is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality
  • Comfortable with electronic documentation and basic computer skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care and health screenings to students according to individualized health plans
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies, assessing and triaging situations with confidence
  • Support and educate students and staff on health-related matters, contributing to positive community wellness
  • Maintain thorough, legally compliant records of care and interventions delivered
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and allied professionals as needed
  • Adhere to all school safety, security, and health protocols
