Desired Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted LPN or LVN license in the state of California
- Prior experience in school, pediatric, or community health settings strongly preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Knowledge of IEP and 504 plan processes is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality
- Comfortable with electronic documentation and basic computer skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and health screenings to students according to individualized health plans
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, assessing and triaging situations with confidence
- Support and educate students and staff on health-related matters, contributing to positive community wellness
- Maintain thorough, legally compliant records of care and interventions delivered
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and allied professionals as needed
- Adhere to all school safety, security, and health protocols
