A temporary nursing opportunity is available to provide essential 1:1 nursing support within a K-12 preschool and childcare environment in Lapeer, MI. This role is designed to cover specific leave dates throughout February to May, offering part-time, half-day shifts from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized nursing care to a student, focusing on health and safety needs
  • Perform G-tube suctioning and tracheostomy (trach) care with precision and adherence to protocols
  • Monitor student health status and respond promptly to medical needs
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure seamless daily support
  • Maintain thorough documentation of care provided

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid LPN or LVN license required
  • Experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in school or childcare settings
  • Proficient in performing G-tube suctioning and trach care
  • Ability to work independently and calmly in medical situations
  • Compliance with school district onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting and badge acquisition
