School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Las Vegas, Nevada

Step into a vital role supporting students for a temporary full-time contract position in the Las Vegas area, working directly within the school setting. This opportunity offers hands-on experience as an LPN assigned to a 1:1 case, providing care for a student with a tracheostomy, and ideally, bringing comfort with GT feeds. Your services will be required on-site—remote or hybrid work is not available. This assignment runs from August 10, 2026, to October 12, 2026, with mandatory training sessions scheduled for the afternoon of August 4 and the morning of August 7.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active LPN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience supporting school-aged children, including 1:1 assignments
• Confidence in trach and GT feed care procedures
• Strong ability to communicate with students, families, and school staff
• Up-to-date resume, full LPN license information, and driver’s license photo required for consideration

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized nursing care to a student with complex medical needs
• Ensure adherence to care plans set by healthcare professionals and school administrators
• Monitor health status and respond appropriately to medical needs
• Document all care activities and communicate shifts in status to proper personnel
• Travel to assigned school locations within the Las Vegas area, including sites near Flamingo, Boulder Highway, and Henderson
