School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Leominster, Massachusetts

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active LPN license (Massachusetts)
• Previous experience as an LPN or LVN, preferably in a school, pediatric, or community health setting
• Strong assessment and clinical skills, with the ability to respond quickly and calmly in medical situations
• Excellent communication skills with students, families, faculty, and administrators
• Proficient in maintaining accurate records and adhering to confidentiality standards
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct healthcare to students, including assessment, first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic health conditions
• Maintain and update health records; communicate health needs and care plans with staff and parents
• Support the creation and implementation of individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs
• Participate in health screenings, immunization tracking, and the promotion of wellness initiatives within the school
• Serve as a resource for health education and disease prevention
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and facilitate referrals to outside medical providers as needed
