School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Liberty, New York

Key Qualifications:

• Active LPN or RN license required
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting is highly preferred
• Comfortable delivering 1:1 care and managing medical needs in a school setting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for interacting with students, staff, and parents
• Ability to maintain accurate health records and adhere to school protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized healthcare support to assigned student(s), including medication administration and monitoring of chronic conditions
• Provide emergency interventions and manage acute health concerns as needed
• Partner with teachers and school staff to uphold a safe, healthy school environment
• Maintain clear documentation on student care and support any health-related accommodations within the classroom
• Act as a resource for health education and awareness among students and school personnel
