School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Littlerock, California

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active LPN or LVN license in California, in good standing
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though not required
• Strong clinical skills and up-to-date knowledge of nursing best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to dynamic situations
• CPR/BLS certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer daily medications, first aid, and emergency care as needed
• Monitor student health needs, including chronic condition management (e.g., diabetes, asthma)
• Maintain accurate medical records and compliance with privacy guidelines
• Communicate health concerns and care plans to teachers, parents, and other school personnel
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insight
• Educate students and staff on health topics, prevention, and wellness promotion
• Support public health protocols within the school community
