School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Livingston Manor, New York

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced nurse to provide one-on-one care in a school environment near Livingston Manor, NY. Two contract openings are available for dedicated professionals able to commit full-time during the school week. Choose between two schedules: either 7:45am-3:30pm or 7:45am-2:55pm, Monday through Friday. This role is ideal for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) who enjoys supporting students and making a positive difference in their daily experience.

Qualifications:

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of New York
• Previous experience in schools, pediatric settings, or with children preferred
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current CPR certification
• Reliable, compassionate, and attentive to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 medical care, monitoring, and support for students during school hours
• Administer medications and treatments as required by each student’s care plan
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records
• Communicate effectively with school staff and families
• Respond promptly to medical incidents or emergencies
• Advocate for student health, safety, and well-being in the school setting
