School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Locust Grove, Virginia

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active LPN license in the state of Virginia
• Experience or strong comfort level with diabetic care, seizure protocols, G-tube and trach care, toileting, diapering, and health monitoring
• Ability and willingness to accompany students during bus transportation as needed
• Demonstrated flexibility and teamwork skills, with a readiness to respond to changing student needs
• Prior experience in a pediatric or school environment is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, comprehensive care to students with varying health needs throughout the school day
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor acute and chronic health conditions, and respond to emergencies
• Support students with complex health needs, including seizure management, diabetes treatment, and trach or G-tube care
• Assist with daily living activities such as toileting and diapering in a professional, dignified manner
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with staff, students, and families regarding health plans
• Ride on school buses as required to ensure student safety during transit
