Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Loveland, CO

An immediate opening is available for a compassionate and reliable LPN to support a child requiring specialized nursing attention throughout the academic year and into June (Monday–Thursday). Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid LPN or LVN licensure
• Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
• Demonstrated expertise with G-Tubes, oxygen administration, and oral suctioning
• Comfortable with complex care needs and able to respond calmly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• High degree of reliability, empathy, and professionalism

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily nursing care to a medically fragile child, including G-Tube management, oxygen support, and oral suctioning as prescribed
• Closely monitor signs, symptoms, and changes in the student’s condition; respond quickly to emergencies or health concerns
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and family members to support the student’s safety and academic participation
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with medical and school policies
• Educate staff as needed on the student’s medical needs and emergency procedures

This contract role is designed to cover the full 180-day academic calendar and extend through June (Mondays through Thursdays). It’s an ideal position for a nurse with a passion for pediatric care and a drive to make a real impact in a supportive school community.
