School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Lowell, Massachusetts

Seeking a compassionate and skilled RN or LPN to provide dedicated care in a rewarding school environment near Lowell, MA. This contract opportunity is ideal for nursing professionals passionate about supporting children in the educational setting. You’ll work 1:1 with an elementary student requiring g-tube feeds and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule—no bus duty required, as care begins and ends at the school building.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN or LPN/LVN license in Massachusetts
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly desirable
• Proficiency in g-tube feeding and providing ADL support
• Ability to communicate clearly with school staff and families
• Strong sense of responsibility, patience, and reliability

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive 1:1 nursing care for an elementary student throughout the school day
• Administer g-tube feeds as prescribed and monitor for any safety concerns or complications
• Support the student with ADLs, fostering independence and comfort
• Maintain thorough and timely health records, ensuring clear communication with families and school team members
• Respond promptly to any health needs or emergencies as they arise during school hours
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with educators to help the student thrive academically and socially

Work Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 2:15 PM, following the elementary school schedule
