School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Maplewood, New Jersey

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of New Jersey
• Experience in pediatric, school, or community health settings preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to respond effectively to urgent health situations
• Compassionate approach to working with children and adolescents

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer daily medications and treatments as prescribed
• Manage student health concerns, including chronic conditions and minor injuries
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Collaborate with school staff and parents regarding student health needs
• Educate students and staff on health, wellness, and safety practices
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and communicate any concerns appropriately
