Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and unrestricted LPN license
• Prior nursing experience, preferably in a school, pediatric, or community health environment
• Solid clinical judgment and excellent assessment skills
• Strong communication abilities with students, staff, and families
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• CPR/BLS certification
• Adaptability in responding to rapidly changing health needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, first aid, and chronic condition management
• Support students with individualized health plans, ensuring they have access to a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere
• Maintain up-to-date health records and documentation in compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with educators, school counselors, and families to promote student wellness and address health-related barriers to learning
• Conduct health screenings and monitor contagious conditions as required
• Educate students and staff on health practices, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Respond effectively and calmly to medical emergencies
