Step into a rewarding opportunity as an LPN supporting K-12 students throughout the academic year beginning August 2026 through June 2027. This contract position, located near Merrimack, NH, seeks two dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses ready to make a positive impact across a school setting.

As a full-time LPN, you’ll work between 35 and 37.5 hours weekly, collaborating closely with educational staff, students, and families. Your expertise will be crucial in providing daily healthcare support and ensuring a safe environment for learners from kindergarten through high school. Each day brings new experiences as you promote student well-being, manage care plans, and help foster a nurturing school community.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid LPN or LVN license
  • Prior experience in a school or similar pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with children and adolescents
  • Basic computer literacy for electronic health record documentation
  • Compassionate, patient-centered mindset
  • Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in urgent situations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and first aid to students as needed
  • Administer medications and monitor students’ ongoing health needs
  • Support students with chronic conditions, including diabetes, asthma, or allergies
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records
  • Communicate with parents, school staff, and outside healthcare providers
