Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN or RN license for New Hampshire
• Experience as a school nurse, LPN/LVN in a school setting, or background working with children with disabilities
• Comfortable acting as a bus monitor and providing care during transport
• Confident in following seizure protocols, with a solid understanding of conditions such as epilepsy
• Compassionate approach towards students with physical and speech limitations
• Ability to safely and responsibly ride with a student to and from school
• Punctual and reliable, with strong communication skills

Role and Responsibilities:

• Accompany student from home to school and back (4 hours total per day; approx. 20 hours per week)
• Monitor the student’s health status and support needs during bus rides
• Respond to medical emergencies according to established protocols
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and dignity of the student throughout transport
• Communicate proactively with the student’s family and school team
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and interventions
