School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Middleburg, Florida

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) opportunity is available to support student health services within a K-12 school setting in the Middleburg, FL area. This contract position is part-time with potential for full-time hours based on school district needs, offering flexible scheduling on a PRN (per diem/substitute) basis. The role focuses on providing quality nursing care in school health rooms, addressing daily health needs of students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care and health assessments to students in school health rooms
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and routine care needs throughout the school day
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate with school staff and families as appropriate
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to comply with district health policies and protocols
• Collaborate with school staff to promote a safe and healthy learning environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Florida LPN license required
• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in a school-based nursing role preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Work primarily at one school; possible assignments with elementary, middle, or high school students within the district
