Qualifications & Experience

• Active Florida LPN license
• High school diploma or GED required
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Prior school-based nursing experience is highly valued
• Ability to complete all credentialing and fingerprinting requirements as specified
• Skilled in pediatric patient assessment, medication administration, and responding appropriately to physical and mental health emergencies
• Flexible, reliable, and capable of adapting quickly to evolving needs throughout the school day

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to students in the health room, including medication administration, wound care, and managing acute illnesses
• Provide first aid, health education, and ongoing support to students and staff
• Communicate effectively with families, staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Attend mandatory pre-employment orientation and ongoing training sessions
