A healthcare organization in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support school-based health services on a contract basis. This role involves providing nursing care and health support to students, working within the school environment to promote a safe and healthy educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver basic nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor student health conditions.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student well-being.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Provide first aid and emergency care as needed during school hours.
• Educate students on health and wellness topics as appropriate.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current LPN or LVN license valid in Minnesota.
• Previous experience working as an LPN in a healthcare or school setting preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric nursing and school health protocols.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
