School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Monticello, New York

One position offers traditional full-time school hours from 7:45am to 2:55pm, while the other involves riding the bus with a student, beginning at 7:45am and ending the day at 3:30pm. Both roles promise variety and the chance to provide essential care to students who need it most.

What you’ll bring:

• Active LPN or RN license in New York
• Experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or as a healthcare professional in educational settings
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
• Readiness to provide 1:1 medical support and monitor student health throughout the school day or during transportation
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively

Your responsibilities:

• Administer medication and provide direct nursing care in accordance with the student’s healthcare plan
• Monitor the student’s well-being and respond promptly to any medical needs
• Communicate regularly with the student’s family, school staff, and healthcare team
• Maintain detailed records and follow all school policies and procedures
• For the bus-riding position, accompany the student to and from school ensuring their safety and comfort during transport
