Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN or LVN license in California
• Previous pediatric, school-based, or home health experience is preferred
• Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor
• Ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and other health professionals
• Reliable transportation to travel to student’s home
• Commitment to support confidentiality and uphold student care standards

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care and health monitoring for a middle school-aged student in a home-based educational setting
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects or changes in health status
• Record and document health interventions and communicate updates to the care team
• Support the student’s participation in educational activities as directed by the program and family
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and respond promptly in case of health needs
