In this position, you will work directly with a middle school-aged student, providing essential nursing care in a one-on-one setting. The assignment runs ASAP through July, Monday through Friday with half-day hours—offering flexibility for your summer plans while making a meaningful difference.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid California LVN or LPN license
• Experience providing nursing care in educational or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, educators, and healthcare professionals
• Up-to-date CPR certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing services to a middle school student in a homebound environment
• Monitor, document, and report on the student’s health status and respond to any emerging medical needs
• Administer medications and assist with medical procedures as necessary and in accordance with care plans
• Serve as a vital support partner for the student and family and coordinate care with the broader educational team
