A specialized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) opportunity is available in a school setting located in the Naperville and St. Charles, IL areas. This contract role focuses on providing 1:1 nursing care for a student requiring comprehensive medical support during the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer approximately eight G-tube feedings daily.
• Monitor blood glucose levels using the Blue Loop system.
• Provide diabetic care, including insulin administration and carbohydrate counting.
• Support a student with Down Syndrome by addressing their unique health needs with compassion and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with school staff and healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

• Active LPN or LVN license.
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric care strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with G-tube feeding and diabetic management in children.
