Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – School-Based 1:1 Assignments

A healthcare staffing opportunity is available for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) interested in providing one-to-one nursing support within school settings. Assignments primarily focus on full-time placements in Manchester, NH, offering critical care to students with diverse medical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized nursing care to students on a 1:1 basis across various caseloads.
- Assist with specific medical requirements, including tracheostomy care, gastrostomy tube (G-tube) management, ventilator support, seizure monitoring, diabetic care, and toileting assistance, as applicable.
- Support students during transport, including bus riding when required.
- Collaborate with educational staff by aiding with academic activities as necessary throughout the school day.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with healthcare and educational teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Hampshire.
- Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred, especially working with medically complex children.
- Comfort and competence in handling a range of medical interventions, including trach, G-tube, ventilator, seizure care, and diabetic management.
- Ability to multitask and assist students with toileting and academic engagement when required.
- Flexibility to fulfill bus riding responsibilities as part of some assignments.
