This part-time position offers 20 hours per week within a year-round educational program near Nashua, NH. Play a key role in creating a safer and more inclusive educational journey for a student with mobility challenges as you accompany them to out-of-district schools.

Key Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Active and unencumbered LPN/LVN license in New Hampshire (or eligible for licensure)
• Previous experience in pediatric, school, or medically intensive settings preferred
• Knowledge and skill in managing mobility issues and specialized medical needs
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to build rapport with students and their families
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Valid driver’s license and comfort riding with students in school transportation vehicles

Role Responsibilities:

• Accompany and monitor the student during transportation to and from out-of-district schools
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to care plans
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and ensure the student’s safety at all times
• Assist with mobility challenges, transfers, and the use of adaptive equipment as needed
• Document care, maintain medical records, and communicate relevant updates to staff and parents
• Foster a nurturing and supportive environment while upholding privacy and dignity
