School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Nellis Afb, Nevada

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with this temporary, full-time opportunity working on-site in the Las Vegas area. This contract position focuses on providing one-on-one care as an LPN for a student requiring tracheostomy support, with added value if you have experience administering gastrostomy tube (GT) feeds. Your expertise will help ensure the student thrives in their educational environment, and you'll have regular professional support throughout the assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, one-on-one nursing care for a student with a tracheostomy, supporting their health and safety during the school day
• Perform GT feeds as needed and monitor for any changes in the student’s condition
• Collaborate with the educational team, parents, and healthcare providers to implement the individualized care plan
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Respond promptly to any medical emergencies or evolving care needs

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted LPN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with tracheostomy care and GT feeds highly preferred
• Ability to work full-time on-site, with no virtual or hybrid option available
• Up-to-date resume, LPN license information, photo ID, and email required for presentation
• Willingness to complete district-coordinated fingerprinting and necessary credentialing
• Availability for required trainings on the afternoons of 8/4 and mornings of 8/7
