- Proficiency with electronic recordkeeping and basic computer skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and provide routine or emergency medical care according to physician orders and school protocols
- Monitor students with chronic health conditions—such as asthma, diabetes, or allergies—and provide necessary interventions
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Educate students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and disease prevention
- Support individualized healthcare plans and collaborate in developing accommodations for students with medical needs
- Respond promptly to health emergencies or injuries on campus
- Maintain clear and compassionate communication with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student health concerns
