Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and active LPN license in New Jersey
• Previous clinical experience, preferably in a school, pediatric, or community healthcare setting
• Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills
• Ability to maintain accurate medical records and confidentiality in compliance with state and federal regulations
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Compassionate approach to working with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer basic first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed
• Dispense daily medications and monitor for any side effects or adverse reactions
• Track immunization records and communicate with families regarding student health concerns
• Support students with chronic health needs, including diabetes, asthma, and allergy management
• Serve as a liaison between school, families, and healthcare providers
• Maintain detailed health records in compliance with school policies and regulations
• Promote a healthy school environment through health education, prevention strategies, and collaboration with teaching staff
