Key Qualifications:

• Active LPN, LVN, or RN license (required)
• Demonstrated experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Current CPR certification

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for a first-grade student during school hours
• Monitor and support trach/vent care, maintaining vigilance over health status and respiratory needs
• Administer prescribed treatments, medications, and emergency interventions as outlined in the care plan
• Work closely with teachers, school staff, and guardians to ensure the student’s well-being and participate in IEP or related meetings as needed
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and health records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports the student’s safety and participation in educational activities
