You'll deliver essential nursing care, assist students during field trips, and ensure a safe learning environment for all.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current and active California LVN license
- Experience working as an LPN or LVN in schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Confident supporting students with catheter needs and other specialized healthcare requirements
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educational staff and engage with students
- Ability to work onsite, traveling as needed for field trips within the school setting
- Professional, compassionate approach to supporting diverse student needs

Responsibilities:
- Deliver daily nursing care and support to students with specialized medical needs
- Monitor and administer prescribed treatments, including catheterization
- Accompany and support students on field trips, working closely with staff to provide medical oversight
- Step in as needed for absent LVNs or respond promptly to emergency situations
- Maintain thorough health records and assist with routine health screenings
- Serve as a resource for school staff regarding student health plans and medication protocols
- Adhere to all relevant school and medical guidelines to ensure a safe, inclusive environment
This contract runs from June 15, 2026, to July 8, 2026, with no work on Juneteenth or July 3rd. Work a consistent 40-hour week, 7:45AM to 4:15PM, supporting students and contributing meaningfully to their summer experience.
