School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Nipomo, California

The role involves joining an LVN pool and working onsite, providing hands-on clinical care to students in a supportive environment. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining student safety, managing medical care plans, and collaborating with educators and families.

Qualifications:

• Current, active California LVN license required
• Previous experience working as an LPN/LVN in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt and remain calm in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Committed to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide first aid and acute care response to students and staff
• Support management of chronic health conditions and care plans
• Monitor student health, document interventions, and maintain accurate records
• Serve as a valuable point of contact between students, staff, and parents
• Participate in health screenings and staff trainings as needed
• Flexibility to work 32.5 hours per week during the regular school year, with the option to sign up for extended school year (ESY) shifts if desired
