School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) - North Las Vegas, NV

Experience the opportunity to make a meaningful impact working as a dedicated LPN within a dynamic school setting in the Las Vegas area. This contract, on-site position supports students in need of direct health services throughout their school day. The assignment is scheduled from August 10, 2026, through October 12, 2026, with required training sessions on the afternoon of August 4 and the morning of August 7. Full-time hours are available, and each LPN will provide 1:1 care for students with specific medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive 1:1 nursing care to a student requiring tracheostomy support while at school.
• Assist with gastrostomy (GT) feedings and related medical procedures as needed.
• Administer daily health services according to the student’s care plan, tracking and documenting interventions.
• Collaborate with school staff and communicate health updates to families and caregivers.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest standard of ethical nursing practice.
• Travel within the area around Flamingo and Boulder Highway up to Henderson may be necessary for assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Active LPN license (required).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous experience working with tracheostomy and GT feed procedures preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.
• Flexibility to work full-time and attend pre-assignment training sessions.
• Ability to present required documentation: valid LPN license, updated resume, picture of driver’s license, and a professional email address.
