School Nurse (LPN) - Olympia, Washington

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support for a first-grade student during the 2026-27 school year. This contract position is based in Olympia, WA, with work taking place in the adjacent area of Tumwater, WA. The role requires approximately 32.5 hours per week, offering consistent support throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one nursing care tailored to the student’s health needs
• Monitor and manage the student’s medical conditions during school hours
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care
• Document all nursing activities according to regulations and school policies
• Support the student’s participation in educational activities as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of Washington
• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
• Ability to provide individualized nursing care with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators and parents
• Familiarity with school health protocols and emergency procedures

Location: Olympia, WA (service provided in Tumwater area)
