School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Orange Park, Florida

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity in the school setting as a Licensed Practical Nurse, providing essential care and support to students across grades K-12. Based near Orange Park, FL, this role includes part-time, on-site (not virtual/remote) positions, with the possibility of moving into a full-time role, subject to availability. Positions are available at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, where you’ll collaborate with educators and serve as a reliable healthcare resource for students’ day-to-day needs.

Successful candidates will receive $29-30 per hour, and must complete training prior to the assignment start. Jobs begin August 10, 2026, running through May 28, 2027.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Florida LPN license
• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in a school setting or with children preferred
• Ability to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing, including verification or renewal through the AHCA Clearinghouse and obtaining a JLA badge (may take 3+ weeks)
• Comfort and flexibility to work in a PRN, per-diem, or part-time capacity

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and respond to student health needs during the school day
• Supervise and administer medication and basic first aid
• Record and manage health information in accordance with state and federal laws
• Support school staff in maintaining a safe and healthy environment
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training at the district office
